Job Overview
This Staff Officer (Grade V) role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-volume recruitment operations within the Recruitment Department of HSE West and North West. Based in Tuam, Co. Galway, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting workforce planning and ensuring compliance with HSE HR policies. This is a permanent wholetime position within a dynamic and essential healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support high-volume recruitment campaigns across multiple service areas
- Ensure strict adherence to HSE HR policies and procedures throughout recruitment processes
- Coordinate interview scheduling, candidate communications, and onboarding activities
- Maintain accurate recruitment records using SAP HR (PPARS)
- Liaise with hiring managers and stakeholders across HSE services
- Support workforce planning and reporting requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the recruitment function
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Significant experience in high-volume recruitment environments
- Strong knowledge of HSE HR policies and procedures
- Proven experience using SAP HR (PPARS)
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Eligibility restricted to employees of HSE, TUSLA, Section 38 agencies, or statutory health agencies (WRC Agreement 161867)
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Salary Scale: €52,235 – €62,485 (incremental scale including LSIs)
Working Hours: Full-time, permanent (Wholetime)
