Job Overview

The Support Worker will provide high-quality, person-centred support to individuals attending disability services in Ennis. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will assist service users in achieving personal goals, promoting independence, and enhancing quality of life in line with organisational values and national standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred care and support in accordance with individual care plans.
  • Assist service users with daily living activities, personal care, and community integration.
  • Support individuals in developing life skills and achieving personal goals.
  • Promote dignity, respect, and choice at all times.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records in line with regulatory standards.
  • Work collaboratively with families, colleagues, and multidisciplinary professionals.
  • Adhere to safeguarding, health and safety, and organisational policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Relevant qualification in Social Care, Healthcare Support, or a related field.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work part-time hours as required.
  • Full clean driving licence may be required.
  • Eligibility to work in Ireland.

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

  • Salary aligned with public sector pay scales for Care Assistant (Disability Services) Grade 6482.
  • Permanent part-time contract.
