Brothers of Charity Services Ireland is seeking a Team Leader (Social Care Leader 3030) to join its Disability Services team in Gort, Co. Galway. This temporary full-time role supports the delivery of high-quality, person-centred services across the region. The post is open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and support the delivery of disability services in line with organisational policies
• Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure high standards of care
• Coordinate staff schedules, supervision, and performance development
• Promote person-centred planning and positive risk management
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safeguarding requirements
• Liaise with families, multidisciplinary teams, and external agencies
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to service improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Relevant qualification in Social Care or a related field
• Experience working within disability, social care, or community services
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Knowledge of HIQA standards and safeguarding procedures
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to person-centred support and disability rights
• Problem-solving ability and resilience in a dynamic care environment
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Salary in accordance with the Social Care Leader (3030) scale
• Specified Purpose, Wholetime contract
• Temporary full-time hours: 78 hours per fortnight
