The HSE Dublin & South East is recruiting Multi-Task Attendants (Freastalaí) to support patient care services across community hospitals in Waterford and Wexford. These roles are essential to maintaining safe, clean, and supportive healthcare environments for patients, residents, and clinical teams.

Permanent whole-time and part-time positions are currently available across multiple locations, with additional roles to be filled from a supplementary panel.
Key Responsibilities
• Assisting nursing staff with non-clinical patient support duties
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of wards and communal areas
• Supporting safe movement and comfort of patients and residents
• Handling equipment, supplies, and waste in line with HSE protocols
• Ensuring infection prevention and control standards are met
• Providing courteous assistance to patients, visitors, and staff
• Working flexibly across assigned hospital areas as required
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Demonstrated experience working in healthcare facilities or similar controlled environments
• Ability to follow hygiene, safety, and infection control procedures
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Physical capability to carry out manual handling duties
• Flexibility to work full-time or part-time hours
• Commitment to patient dignity, respect, and confidentiality
