The Health Service Executive (HSE) Dublin and Midlands is recruiting for Grade V Generic Management/Admin Officers to support critical operational, governance, and service delivery functions across the region. Key Responsibilities
• Provide operational and administrative management support within assigned services
• Support planning, reporting, and performance monitoring activities
• Manage workflows, resources, and staff in line with HSE policies
• Contribute to service improvement and change initiatives
• Ensure compliance with governance, HR, and financial procedures
• Prepare reports, briefings, and data analysis as required
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Support senior management with project and operational priorities
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Relevant third-level qualification or equivalent professional experience
• Demonstrable experience in administration or management roles
• Strong organisational, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment
• Proficiency in ICT systems and reporting tools
• Knowledge of public sector or healthcare environments is desirable
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Salary: In line with HSE Grade V (0566) consolidated salary scale (effective 1 August 2025)
• Benefits: Public service pension, paid annual leave, sick leave scheme, and training supports
• Working Hours: Whole-time (standard HSE working arrangements)
Salary scales are governed by Department of Health Consolidated Pay Scales and public service pay agreements .
