A well-established, boutique Digital Transformation consulting firm in Ireland is hiring an IBM Planning Analytics Consultant to join their growing Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) division. About the Role
As an IBM Planning Analytics Consultant, you will work directly with clients to transform their planning environments — converting legacy spreadsheets and complex business problems into sophisticated multi-dimensional models. You will play a central role in the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering through to training and post-go-live support, while acting as the key link between client stakeholders and the internal product team.
Remote working is available within Ireland, with very limited to no travel required.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with clients to transform existing planning solutions, spreadsheets, and business problems into sophisticated multi-dimensional models
- Gather, document, and refine business requirements
- Design and build technology solutions aligned to client specifications
- Deliver end-user training and guide clients through implementation
- Participate in UAT phases across project delivery
- Support data integration between source systems and migration solutions, including connectors and APIs
- Serve as the bridge between customer stakeholders and the internal product team to ensure delivery of best-in-class planning platforms
- Quality assure partner delivery on projects to uphold high implementation standards
Requirements and Qualifications
- University degree in Finance, IT, Business, or a related discipline
- 4+ years of experience with EPM software, ideally in a consulting or development capacity with IBM Planning Analytics or Jedox
- Solid knowledge of Management Accounting, FP&A, and/or Planning Systems
- Comfortable working with high volumes of unstructured data — structuring, validating, and drawing insight
- Strong relationship-building skills with a deep sense of empathy and client dedication
- Strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, client-driven environment
- Ability to manage multiple objectives with initiative and autonomy
- Adaptable and responsive to evolving product and client needs
- Fluent English
