Mullingar Regional Hospital is recruiting Multi-Task Attendants (Attendant – Multi-Task 6015) for permanent whole-time positions across Catering Services and Support Services. These roles play a vital part in ensuring safe, clean, and efficient hospital services that directly support patient care and hospital operations.

There are 2 permanent whole-time vacancies in Catering Services and 5 permanent whole-time vacancies in Support Services, with a panel also being formed for future vacancies.
Key Responsibilities
• Carry out a range of general support duties across assigned hospital departments
• Assist with catering, cleaning, portering, and other support service tasks as required
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and infection control
• Support clinical and non-clinical staff in the delivery of patient services
• Follow HSE policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations
• Work flexibly across different service areas as service needs require
• Demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and a patient-focused approach
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Demonstrated depth and breadth of experience as a Multi-Task Attendant or in a similar support role
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong awareness of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude to service delivery
• Flexibility to work across Catering Services or Support Services
• Experience in a healthcare or large institutional environment is desirable
