A permanent whole-time opportunity has arisen for a Radiography Assistant based across Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital and Louth County Hospital. This role supports radiography services by assisting clinical staff and contributing to high-quality patient care within a busy hospital environment.
Table of Contents
Key Responsibilities
• Assist radiographers in the delivery of imaging services
• Support patient preparation and movement within the department
• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging rooms and equipment
• Assist with stock control and ordering of supplies
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures
• Adhere to HSE policies, procedures, and patient confidentiality standards
• Provide general support to the Radiography Services Manager as required
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Experience working in a healthcare or patient-focused environment (desirable)
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Awareness of patient dignity, privacy, and safety
• Willingness to follow instructions and clinical protocols
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Grade: Radiography Aide 6525 (HSE consolidated pay scales apply)
• Contract: Permanent Whole-Time
