Wexford General Hospital is inviting applications for the role of Radiography Practice Tutor at Senior Radiographer grade. This permanent, whole-time post plays a key role in supporting clinical education, training, and professional development within the Radiology Department, ensuring high standards of practice and patient care.
Table of Contents
Key Responsibilities
• Support and coordinate clinical education and training for radiography staff and students
• Act as a clinical mentor and educator within the Radiology Department
• Promote evidence-based practice and continuous professional development
• Participate in service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with professional, statutory, and HSE policies and guidelines
• Collaborate with radiography management and multidisciplinary teams
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, effective, and patient-centred imaging service
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registration with CORU as a Radiographer
• Relevant postgraduate qualification or commitment to undertake same
• Significant post-registration experience as a Radiographer
• Demonstrated experience in clinical teaching, supervision, or mentoring
• Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
