Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality clinical care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department
- Assess, diagnose, and manage acute medical and surgical presentations
- Work collaboratively with Consultants, Registrars, nursing, and allied health staff
- Participate in on-call and shift rosters as required
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
- Comply with HSE clinical governance, policies, and procedures
- Engage in teaching, audit, and continuous professional development
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registration on the General Division of the Medical Council of Ireland
- Eligibility to work as a Senior House Officer in Ireland
- Demonstrated interest or experience in Emergency Medicine
- Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure acute setting
