The National Ambulance Service is seeking a highly experienced Senior Physiotherapist to join its North Leinster Headquarters team in Dublin. This permanent, whole-time role focuses on delivering advanced evidence-based physiotherapy care in musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, and rheumatology practice. This is a confined competition open to eligible HSE staff at the appropriate grade.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver advanced clinical physiotherapy assessment and treatment
• Apply evidence-based practice across musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and rheumatology services
• Support clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives
• Contribute to multidisciplinary team planning and decision-making
• Supervise and mentor physiotherapy colleagues as required
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reporting
• Participate in service development and audit activities
Required Skills & Qualifications
• CORU registration as a Physiotherapist
• Permanent appointment at Senior Physiotherapist grade within the HSE
• Extensive post-qualification clinical experience
• High-level expertise in musculoskeletal, orthopaedic or rheumatology practice
• Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
