Children’s Health Ireland is seeking a Senior Physiotherapist (Haematology & Oncology) to join its specialist paediatric services in Dublin South. This is a specified purpose, whole-time role supporting children and young people with complex oncology and haematology needs. The post offers an opportunity to work within a highly skilled multidisciplinary team in a nationally recognised paediatric setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist physiotherapy assessment and intervention for paediatric haematology and oncology patients
• Contribute to multidisciplinary care planning and clinical decision-making
• Provide expert advice, education, and support to patients, families, and colleagues
• Supervise and support junior physiotherapy staff and students as required
• Participate in service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with professional and organisational standards
• Ensure compliance with clinical governance, child safeguarding, and infection control policies

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Eligible for registration with CORU as a Physiotherapist
• Relevant postgraduate experience in paediatrics, with specialist experience in haematology and/or oncology
• Demonstrated competence at Senior Physiotherapist grade level
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and team-working skills
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
• Commitment to ongoing professional development

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

• Salary in line with Senior Physiotherapist (Grade 3158) consolidated public sector pay scales, effective from 1 August 2025
• Specified Purpose, Wholetime contract
