The Health Service Executive invites applications for a Senior Physiotherapist (Pelvic Health/Primary Care) to join the Sligo/South Donegal Community Healthcare Network. This is a specialist role delivering high-quality pelvic health and primary care physiotherapy services across community settings.

The post offers flexibility with permanent and specified purpose contracts available, supporting service development and patient-centred care across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist Pelvic Health and Primary Care physiotherapy services
• Manage a complex caseload in line with best practice and clinical guidelines
• Contribute to multidisciplinary team working within Community Healthcare Networks
• Provide clinical leadership and support to junior staff where required
• Participate in service planning, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and data reporting
• Engage in continuous professional development and evidence-based practice

Required Skills & Qualifications

• CORU registration as a Physiotherapist (or eligibility to register)
• Demonstrated depth and breadth of recent experience in Pelvic Health/Primary Care
• Evidence of relevant CPD in Pelvic Health/Primary Care physiotherapy
• Excellent clinical reasoning, communication, and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Full driving licence and access to transport is desirable

• Salary in line with HSE Senior Physiotherapist Grade 3158 consolidated pay scales

Location & Employer Information

There is currently one Senior Pelvic Health/Primary Care post within the Sligo/South Donegal CHN. The role will be based in Carrick-on-Shannon one day per week, with the remaining time based within the Sligo/South Donegal CHN (base to be confirmed).
