Wexford General Hospital is seeking a Senior Radiographer (MRI) to deliver a high-quality, patient-focused diagnostic imaging service. This permanent whole-time role plays a key part in the clinical delivery and operational management of MRI and radiographic services within a busy acute hospital setting.

The post offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced radiographer to work across advanced imaging modalities while contributing to service leadership and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality MRI services in a patient-centred, professional manner
• Perform diagnostic imaging including MRI, General Radiography, Fluoroscopy, CT and specialised examinations
• Ensure all imaging is carried out in accordance with departmental protocols and national guidelines
• Assist in the daily operational management of the radiology service
• Maintain high technical standards and image quality
• Ensure patient safety, dignity, and confidentiality at all times
• Participate in service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Registration with CORU as a Radiographer
• Recognised qualification in Radiography
• Demonstrated experience in MRI imaging at a senior level
• Strong knowledge of imaging protocols, radiation safety, and clinical governance
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
