Job Overview

Brothers of Charity Services Ireland is seeking a committed Social Care Worker to support adults with intellectual disabilities in the Clarinbridge area. This permanent, full-time role focuses on person-centred care, promoting independence, dignity, and community inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred support to individuals with disabilities
• Promote independence, choice, and social inclusion
• Implement individual care plans and support goals
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Support daily living activities and community participation
• Maintain accurate records in line with organisational policies
• Adhere to safeguarding, health and safety, and HIQA standards

Required Skills & Qualifications

• QQI Level 7/8 qualification in Social Care or a related discipline
• CORU registration (or eligibility to register)
• Experience working in disability or social care services
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexibly as part of a team
• Full driving licence desirable

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

• Salary in line with Section 38 HSE-approved Social Care Worker (Grade 3029) salary scale
• Permanent full-time contract: 78 hours per fortnight
