Brothers of Charity Services Ireland is seeking dedicated Social Care Workers to support adults with intellectual disabilities across community-based services in County Roscommon. These permanent, part-time roles offer an opportunity to deliver person-centred care within a values-driven organisation committed to dignity, inclusion, and community participation.
Table of Contents
Key Responsibilities
• Provide person-centred supports to individuals with intellectual disabilities
• Promote independence, social inclusion, and community engagement
• Implement individual care and support plans in line with best practice
• Support daily living activities, personal care, and social development
• Maintain accurate records and reports in line with regulatory standards
• Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and organisational policies
Required Skills & Qualifications
• QQI Level 7 or 8 degree in Social Care or equivalent qualification
• CORU registration (or eligibility to register) is required
• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities is desirable
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
• Full clean driving licence is desirable
• Flexibility to work across a 7-day rota
