Corlann Disability Services is recruiting a Social Care Worker in the Boyle and Frenchpark areas of County Roscommon. This permanent part-time, pensionable post is open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants and is advertised by the HSE on behalf of Corlann, a Section 38 publicly funded organisation.
Role Overview
The Social Care Worker will support people using Corlann Disability Services, contributing to person-centred care, independence, inclusion, and quality of life across local disability services in the Boyle and Frenchpark areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, person-centred social care support to service users.
- Promote independence, dignity, safety, and community participation.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and multidisciplinary supports.
- Contribute to care planning, daily supports, and service delivery in line with organisational standards.
- Maintain appropriate records and follow relevant policies, procedures, and safeguarding requirements.
Requirements and Qualifications
This post is aligned to the Social Care Worker (With Qualification) grade, code 3029. Applicants should hold the relevant recognised qualification for a qualified Social Care Worker post and meet any requirements set out by Corlann Disability Services for this campaign.
Salary
€41,260 – €56,717 per annum, pro-rata for part-time hours (HSE Social Care Worker (With Qualification) scale, 12-point scale, plus LSI where applicable). This is a Section 38 employer and the scale is based on the HSE Consolidated Salary Scales effective 1 June 2026.
Location
The role is based in the Boyle and Frenchpark areas of County Roscommon, supporting disability services within the HSE West and North West health region.
