An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Speech & Language Therapist to join disability services as a Clinical Specialist based in Mullingar Health Centre. This permanent whole-time role supports children and families across the HSE Dublin and Midlands region, delivering specialist clinical leadership and evidence-based interventions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced clinical assessment and intervention for children with complex disabilities
• Lead specialist Speech & Language Therapy services within the Children’s Disability Network Team
• Support and mentor Speech & Language Therapy colleagues and students
• Contribute to service development, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
• Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
• Engage with families, carers, and relevant agencies to support client-centred care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports
• Participate in service planning and governance activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

• CORU registration as a Speech & Language Therapist
• Significant post-qualification clinical experience in disability services
• Demonstrated expertise in specialist Speech & Language Therapy practice
• Strong leadership, communication, and clinical decision-making skills
• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
