The Health Service Executive Dublin and Midlands is seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist, Clinical Specialist (Disabilities) to join its multidisciplinary disability services team. This permanent whole-time role is based in Mullingar Health Centre and plays a key leadership role in delivering specialist speech and language therapy services to children and adults with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialist clinical Speech & Language Therapy services to individuals with disabilities
• Lead and support best practice assessment, intervention, and care planning
• Act as a clinical resource and advisor to multidisciplinary teams
• Contribute to service planning, development, audit, and quality improvement
• Supervise and support junior Speech & Language Therapy staff and students
• Engage with families, carers, and external agencies to ensure integrated care
• Maintain high standards of clinical governance, documentation, and reporting
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registration as a Speech & Language Therapist with CORU
• Significant post-qualification clinical experience in disability services
• Demonstrated specialist expertise in Speech & Language Therapy practice
• Experience working within multidisciplinary teams
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
