The Health Service Executive is seeking compassionate and dedicated Staff Nurses (Intellectual Disability) to join Disability Services across Cavan and Monaghan. This permanent, whole-time role offers the opportunity to support individuals with intellectual disabilities in a person-centred, community-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality nursing care to individuals with intellectual disabilities
• Promote independence, dignity, and inclusion in all aspects of care
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and carers
• Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional standards
• Advocate for service users’ health, wellbeing, and rights
• Adhere to HSE policies, procedures, and clinical governance requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registration as a Nurse (Intellectual Disability) with NMBI
• Evidence of continuing professional development
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Knowledge of HIQA standards and person-centred care principles
• Eligibility to work in Ireland

• Salary in line with HSE Staff Nurse – Intellectual Disability (Grade 213T) payscale
• Permanent, whole-time contract
