Brothers of Charity Services Ireland is seeking a Staff Nurse (Intellectual Disability) to join its disability services team in South Connemara. This permanent, whole-time role offers the opportunity to deliver person-centred nursing care that supports independence, dignity, and community inclusion for people with intellectual disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care in line with professional standards
• Support service users with health, wellbeing, and daily living needs
• Develop, implement, and review individual care plans
• Administer medications safely and in accordance with policies
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Promote safeguarding, dignity, and rights of service users
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and reports

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) as a Registered Intellectual Disability Nurse
• Demonstrated commitment to person-centred care
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Eligibility to work in Ireland

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

Salary Scale (Grade 213T – effective 1 August 2025): €37,288 – €55,477 per annum (inclusive of increments and LSIs, where applicable)
