Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centred nursing care in the Endoscopy Unit
• Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures
• Monitor and support patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
• Ensure adherence to infection prevention and control standards
• Work collaboratively with medical, nursing, and allied health professionals
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing training
• Support safe discharge planning and patient education
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registration as a General Nurse on the NMBI Register
• Demonstrated clinical competence in acute or procedural nursing
• Previous endoscopy experience desirable but not essential
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to continuous professional development
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Salary in line with HSE Staff Nurse (General) consolidated pay scales (August 2025 revision)
