Job Overview
The Staff Nurse / Enhanced Nurse Disability Service role in Galway involves delivering clinical and personal care supports to individuals with disabilities while promoting dignity, inclusion, and independence. Successful candidates will work closely with service users, families, and multidisciplinary colleagues to ensure high standards of care and support are maintained.
This is a permanent whole-time opportunity offering 75 hours per fortnight within a well-established disability support service in Gort, Co. Galway.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred nursing care to individuals with disabilities
- Support service users in achieving greater independence and quality of life
- Administer medications and maintain accurate clinical records

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registered Nurse qualification recognised in Ireland
- Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- Experience in disability services or community healthcare is desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to person-centred care and inclusion
- Good organisational and clinical decision-making abilities
