Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) is seeking motivated and compassionate Staff Nurses to join its Operating Department team. As a Staff Nurse in the Operating Department, you will play a key role in providing safe, effective, and family-centred perioperative nursing care while contributing to the continued delivery of high-quality paediatric surgical services.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate perioperative nursing care.
- Support children and their families throughout the surgical journey.
- Work collaboratively with theatre staff, surgeons, anaesthetists, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain high standards of clinical practice and patient safety.
- Participate in continuous professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
Essential Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Registered Children’s Nurse and/or Registered General Nurse.
- Acute Operating Department experience gained within the last two years.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
