Brothers of Charity Services Ireland is seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join its disability services team in Ennis, Co. Clare. This role supports individuals with intellectual disabilities to live meaningful, inclusive, and fulfilling lives within their community.

This opportunity is open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants and is advertised by the HSE on behalf of a Section 38 organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living activities in line with personal support plans
• Promote independence, dignity, and choice for service users
• Assist with personal care, mobility, and household tasks
• Facilitate participation in social, educational, and community activities
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and families
• Adhere to safeguarding, health, and safety policies

Required Skills & Qualifications

• QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support, Social Care, or equivalent (or willingness to work towards)
• Experience supporting people with intellectual disabilities is desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Full clean driving licence is desirable
• Eligibility to work in Ireland

• Salary aligned with Department of Health Consolidated Pay Scales for Care Assistant (Disability Services) Grade 6482
