Sligo University Hospital is seeking a Team Leader – Multi Task Attendant to provide leadership within the Portering Department. This role plays a key part in maintaining high hygiene standards and ensuring efficient service delivery in a busy, demand-led healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and supervise the Portering / Multi Task Attendant team on a daily basis
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, infection prevention, and safety standards
• Allocate and prioritise workloads to meet service deadlines
• Support the delivery of a high-quality, patient-focused service
• Monitor performance and support staff development
• Liaise with hospital departments to ensure operational needs are met
• Maintain accurate records and reports as required
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Demonstrated depth and breadth of experience in hygiene standards
• Experience working in a demand-led service environment
• Proven ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and team leadership skills
• Experience within a healthcare or hospital setting is desirable

• Salary in line with HSE Consolidated Pay Scales for Porter – Head Grade (420Y)
