Job Overview

The Transport & Mobility Training Coordinator Dublin role offers an exciting opportunity to lead high-quality training programmes focused on transport accessibility and disability awareness. Based in Glasnevin, Co. Dublin, this permanent wholetime position supports inclusive travel and accessibility across Ireland’s transport systems.

Working within the Wayfinding Centre at Vision Ireland (NCBI), you will develop and deliver engaging training programmes for internal teams and external partners, including transport operators and professionals within the built environment sector.

Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver engaging training programmes on transport accessibility and disability awareness
Develop learning materials tailored to transport operators and built environment professionals
Provide expert guidance on Ireland’s transport systems and accessibility supports
Facilitate workshops, seminars, and practical training sessions
Collaborate with internal teams to enhance accessibility knowledge and practice
Evaluate programme effectiveness and implement continuous improvements
Promote inclusive journey planning and passenger information services

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong applied knowledge of Ireland’s transport systems and passenger accessibility needs
Comprehensive understanding of major transport modes and journey planning tools
Knowledge of passenger information services and network accessibility supports
Clear understanding of barriers faced by people with disabilities when travelling
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Experience delivering professional training programmes
Strong organisational and stakeholder engagement skills

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

Salary: €55,000 – €60,000 depending on experience

Location & Employer Information

This role is based in Glasnevin, Co. Dublin, within the HSE Dublin and North East region. The Wayfinding Centre operates as part of Vision Ireland (NCBI), a Section 39 publicly funded organisation dedicated to supporting people who are blind or vision impaired.
