Care Supervisor Sligo – Connected Health

Job Overview

Connected Health is seeking an experienced Care Supervisor Sligo to join their growing homecare team in County Sligo. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity offering a competitive salary of €34,000 per year, mileage allowance, and excellent career development prospects.

As a Care Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting healthcare assistants in the community, ensuring high standards of care delivery, conducting spot checks and client reviews, and contributing to the ongoing development of care teams across the region.

Key Responsibilities

Undertake spot checks with healthcare assistants in the community
Carry out client reviews regarding ongoing care provision
Complete staff introductions in line with company policies and procedures
Conduct staff shadowing and ensure adherence to Health & Safety policies
Provide rapid response support including emergency cover and new care packages
Monitor and evaluate the quality of care delivered and report concerns to the Area Manager
Support and assist with care team development
Collect and review journal notes from client homes
Deliver care plans, log sheets, PPE and essential supplies as required
Update online system documentation including reviews and spot checks
Schedule and confirm client reviews with NOK and service users
Maintain filing systems and administrative records
Support coordinators during emergency cover requirements
Attend weekly team check-ins and complete additional duties as required

Required Skills & Qualifications

Relevant health or social care background
1–2 years’ experience in Homecare
QQI Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support
Level 6 in Supervisory Management (desirable)
Full driving licence with access to a car
Strong written and spoken English communication skills
Availability to work alternative weekends
Strong organisational and leadership skills
