Job Overview
The Clinical Nurse Manager III – Practice Development Facilitator will provide professional and clinical leadership within Mental Health Services across the HSE Mid West region. The successful candidate will support nursing practice development, education initiatives, evidence-based care delivery, and continuous quality improvement while working collaboratively with healthcare teams and service leaders.
This role offers flexible employment options including Permanent and Specified Purpose contracts on both part-time and whole-time bases.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and professional leadership within Mental Health Services.
- Support the implementation of evidence-based nursing practice and quality improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate staff education, training, and professional development programmes.
- Promote best practice standards in mental health nursing care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registered as a Nurse or Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
- Significant clinical experience within Mental Health Services.
- Previous leadership or management experience in a healthcare environment.
- Strong knowledge of professional nursing practice, governance, and quality improvement.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead education, mentoring, and practice development initiatives.
