An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine to join services in Dublin South within the Dublin and South East region. This permanent, part-time post (18.5 hours per week) offers the chance to lead and shape high-quality rehabilitation services within a multidisciplinary, community-focused model of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level clinical leadership in rehabilitation medicine
• Deliver specialist assessment and management for patients with complex rehabilitation needs
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary community neuro-rehabilitation teams
• Contribute to service planning, governance, and quality improvement initiatives
• Support education, supervision, and development of junior medical staff
• Engage in audit, research, and continuous professional development

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Registration on the Specialist Register of the Irish Medical Council in Rehabilitation Medicine
• Fellowship or equivalent postgraduate qualification relevant to the specialty
• Demonstrated experience at consultant level in rehabilitation medicine
• Strong leadership, communication, and multidisciplinary working skills
• Eligibility to work in Ireland

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours

• Salary in line with Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine (180X) HSE pay scale
• Pro-rata remuneration for 18.5 hours per week
• Permanent contract with pensionable benefits
