Key Responsibilities
• Provide consultant-level rheumatology services in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Deliver high-quality general physician care within acute medical services
• Participate in on-call and rota arrangements as required
• Lead and contribute to multidisciplinary clinical teams
• Supervise, train, and mentor NCHDs and junior medical staff
• Engage in clinical audit, governance, and quality improvement initiatives
• Contribute to service planning and strategic development within the hospital
• Maintain compliance with HSE clinical and professional standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registration on the Specialist Division of the Medical Council of Ireland in Rheumatology
• Extensive experience in rheumatology and general internal medicine
• Proven consultant-level clinical competence
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
• Commitment to continuous professional development and clinical excellence
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
