Job Overview
As Assistant Director of Nursing Patient Flow, you will play a critical leadership role in managing patient pathways and supporting hospital-wide capacity planning. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will drive initiatives that optimise patient movement, reduce delays, and improve overall patient experience within St Columcille’s Hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate patient flow strategies across the hospital

- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing and support staff

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Registered General Nurse with active registration with NMBI
- Significant senior nursing experience, ideally in acute hospital settings
- Proven leadership and management experience
- Strong understanding of patient flow, bed management, and hospital operations
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to lead change and service improvement initiatives
- Relevant postgraduate qualification in healthcare management (desirable)
