Dealz is seeking a motivated Assistant Store Manager to support store operations in Sligo. This full-time role offers a competitive salary of up to €38,440.22 per year and the opportunity to lead, inspire, and help deliver exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the Store Manager in daily operations and team leadership.
• Deliver excellent customer service and actively uphold the “two is a queue” initiative.
• Assist with training, onboarding, and developing new colleagues.
• Lead daily huddles to communicate sales, service, and shrink targets.
• Ensure all products are correctly priced, merchandised, and maintained.
• Promote a safe, compliant, and positive working environment.
• Provide hands-on support across the store, including checkouts.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Previous experience in retail or supervisory roles.
• Strong customer service mindset.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume retail setting.
• Proficiency with basic IT systems (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
