The Health Service Executive (HSE) is seeking a motivated and qualified Candidate Advanced Practice Radiographer to join the Radiology Department at Cork University Hospital, Wilton. This specified purpose wholetime role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to advanced radiography practice in one of Ireland’s leading teaching hospitals.

Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging and ensure adherence to HSE clinical standards.
• Participate in service improvement and innovation within the radiology department.
• Engage in advanced practice development under the supervision of the Radiography Services Manager.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient care outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records in line with HSE data and patient management policies.

Required Skills & Qualifications
• BSc (Hons) in Radiography or equivalent qualification recognised by CORU.
• Registration or eligibility for registration with CORU as a Radiographer.
• Demonstrated interest in or experience of advanced practice radiography.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
As per the Department of Health Consolidated Salary Scales (effective 1 August 2025), Grade Code 3086 – Radiographer, Advanced Practice, Candidate – the annual salary range applies in accordance with national HSE pay policy.
Employment Type: Specified Purpose, Wholetime
Working Hours: Full-time, standard HSE working week
