Key Responsibilities
• Provide strategic and operational leadership across all non-clinical and clinical support services
• Support the Hospital General Manager and senior leadership team in delivering national and regional objectives
• Ensure effective governance, risk management, and compliance with HSE policies
• Lead service planning, performance management, and operational improvement initiatives
• Drive patient flow, capacity management, and efficiency programmes
• Manage large multidisciplinary teams and complex operational budgets
• Support quality, safety, and patient experience improvement frameworks
• Act as a key liaison with regional HSE management and external stakeholders
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Significant senior management experience in a large, complex organisation (healthcare desirable)
• Demonstrated leadership at executive or senior management level
• Strong operational, financial, and people management expertise
• Proven ability to lead change and service transformation
• Excellent governance, risk, and performance management skills
• Relevant third-level qualification (Level 8 or higher); postgraduate qualification desirable
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Salary: In line with HSE General Manager Grade 0041 (Department of Health consolidated pay scales)
• Contract: Permanent, whole-time
