Key Responsibilities
• Lead, coordinate and support nursing teams within the Medical Directorate
• Ensure high-quality, safe, and evidence-based patient care
• Oversee clinical workflow, staffing, and service delivery standards
• Support continuous improvement and practice development across the unit
• Promote interdisciplinary communication and patient-centred care
• Participate in audit, governance, and quality-assurance initiatives
• Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to nursing staff
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registered General Nurse with NMBI active registration
• Demonstrated depth and breadth of experience in acute nursing, relevant to the role
• Strong clinical leadership, decision-making and organisational skills
• Ability to manage staff performance and support professional development
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Commitment to HSE policies, procedures, and quality standards
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Grade: Clinical Nurse Manager 1 (Grade Code 2127)
Contract: Permanent, Wholetime
Salary Scale (from 1 August 2025): €56,642 – €66,705 per annum (8 points)
