Cork University Hospital is recruiting a Clinical Nurse Manager 3 for Cancer Services, offering an exciting opportunity to lead specialist care within Ireland’s largest university teaching hospital. This permanent wholetime post provides senior clinical leadership and strategic oversight across cancer services at CUH.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide advanced clinical leadership across Cancer Services
• Lead service development, quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Support workforce planning, supervision and performance management
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, clinical governance and audit requirements
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient-centred care
• Oversee operational management and resource allocation within the department
• Contribute to policy development, change management and service innovation
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with NMBI active registration
• Minimum of 5 years’ post-registration experience (with substantial senior experience)
• Proven leadership and team management capability
• Experience in cancer services desirable
• Excellent communication, decision-making and organisational skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex clinical environments
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
Grade: Clinical Nurse Manager 3 (233X)
Salary Scale (1 August 2025): €70,725 – €79,872 per annum
Contract: Permanent Wholetime
Working Hours: 37 hours per week (typical HSE wholetime schedule)
Benefits: HSE pension, incremental pay, funded CPD, and full public service entitlements
