The Brothers of Charity Services Ireland are seeking a dedicated Day Service Manager to lead and coordinate high-quality day services in Ennis, County Clare. This permanent, whole-time position (Social Care Manager 2 – Grade 3372) offers an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals in health and social care management to contribute to a values-based organisation supporting people with intellectual disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead, manage, and develop day service teams to deliver person-centred supports.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and internal governance standards.
• Develop and monitor individualised service plans in line with organisational policies.
• Oversee staff supervision, training, and performance management.
• Manage service budgets effectively in accordance with Section 38 funding conditions.
• Foster collaboration with families, multidisciplinary teams, and community partners.
• Drive continuous quality improvement and best practice within day services.

Required Skills & Qualifications
• A relevant third-level qualification in Social Care, Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a leadership or management role within disability or health and social care services.
• Demonstrated knowledge of HIQA standards and HSE operational frameworks.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
• Ability to implement service development and person-centred care models.
• Full clean driver’s licence and access to own transport.

Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Grade: Social Care Manager 2 (Grade Code 3372).
• Salary Scale: In line with Department of Health Consolidated Salary Scales (1 August 2025).
• Employment Type: Permanent, Whole-time.
• Pension and benefits in line with Section 38 publicly funded bodies.
• Standard working week with occasional flexibility required for service needs.
