Staffline Recruitment Ireland, on behalf of An Garda Síochána, is seeking Field Support ICT Specialists (Executive Officer Level) to deliver, maintain, and support a range of technology and data solutions across Ireland. This full-time, permanent role offers a salary of up to €37,919 per year, with opportunities to contribute to mission-critical systems keeping Ireland’s communities safe.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support across 600+ Garda locations nationwide.
- Install, configure, and maintain ICT infrastructure including CCTV, radio, LAN/WAN, and unified communications.
- Support video conferencing, enterprise networking, and mobile technologies.
- Deliver rollout and project assistance for nationwide ICT initiatives.
- Assist in troubleshooting control room systems, vehicle ICT equipment, and custody suite technologies.
- Provide on-site support for events, VIP visits, and operational rollouts.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Route 1 – Formal Education:
- NFQ Level 6 or higher qualification in a relevant ICT area (e.g. computing, networking, or systems support).
- Relevant ICT experience gained through employment or educational projects.
- Route 2 – Industry Certification:
- At least one recognized ICT industry certification (e.g. CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft).
- Minimum one year of relevant hands-on ICT experience.
- Full, clean driving licence (category B).
- Proven ability to analyse and resolve ICT infrastructure or service issues.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
- Salary: Up to €37,919 per year, in line with public service pay scales effective 1 August 2025.
- Contract Type: Permanent, full-time.
