Brothers of Charity Services Ireland is seeking a Finance Officer (Grade VI 0574) to join its Disability Services team in Clarinbridge, Co. Galway. This permanent wholetime role supports high-quality service delivery through effective financial administration, reporting, and compliance. Key Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day financial operations across the service.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning cycles.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with public sector financial regulations and organisational policies.
• Maintain accurate financial records and oversee accounts processing.
• Liaise with internal teams, auditors, and external stakeholders.
• Assist with procurement, payroll coordination, and financial queries.
• Support continuous improvement of financial systems and processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Relevant finance or accounting qualification (e.g., Business, Finance, Accounting).
• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in a finance, accounts, or administration role.
• Strong knowledge of financial systems, reporting tools, and budget management.
• Excellent organisational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in Section 38 or public sector finance is an advantage.

• Grade VI (0574) salary scale (public sector consolidated salary scales apply).
