The Health Service Executive is recruiting a General Practitioner (GMS) for a permanent whole-time post based in Cabra, Dublin 7. This role offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality primary care within the HSE Dublin and North East region, supporting patients across a diverse urban community.
Table of Contents
Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive GP-led primary care services to the local population
• Deliver clinical assessments, diagnostics, treatment plans, and ongoing patient management
• Maintain accurate medical records in line with HSE clinical governance standards
• Participate in multidisciplinary teamwork with Primary Care services
• Contribute to health promotion, chronic disease management, and preventive care programmes
• Engage in professional development and comply with relevant regulatory and HSE policies
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Full registration with the Irish Medical Council
• Experience working in general practice or primary care settings
• Strong diagnostic, clinical decision-making, and communication skills
• Commitment to patient-centred care and collaborative working
• Eligibility to work in the HSE under the General Practitioner 152X grade
