The Health Service Executive (HSE) is seeking a Grade VI Rapid Access Navigator (Reference: HSEMW30225) to support patient flow and service coordination within University Hospital Limerick. This internal role is open only to eligible staff under WRC Agreement 161867. Based in Limerick, the successful candidate will play a key part in the Rapid Access service and operational administration. The contract is Specified Purpose Wholetime, offering a valuable opportunity to contribute to improved access and patient navigation across the HSE West and North West region.
Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate Rapid Access pathways to support timely patient flow.
• Provide senior-level administrative oversight within the service.
• Liaise with clinical and administrative teams across the hospital.
• Support the management of data, reporting, and service activity tracking.
• Assist in planning and organising service improvements.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies and information governance.
• Maintain accurate documentation, scheduling, and operational records.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Eligibility to work in an internal HSE competition per WRC Agreement 161867.
• Experience in a senior administrative or Grade VI equivalent position.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy acute hospital environment.
• Proficiency in healthcare systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of HSE structures and patient access processes is an advantage.
