The Health Service Executive (HSE) is seeking an experienced Grade VII Housing Coordinator to support Adult Mental Health Services across Cavan, Monaghan, and Louth. This senior coordination role focuses on housing pathways, inter-agency collaboration, and service development to support individuals with complex mental health needs.

This is a permanent, senior management-level position, offering the opportunity to make a measurable impact on mental health housing outcomes within the HSE Dublin and North East region.

Eligibility Notice: This is an internal competition only, open to employees of the HSE, TUSLA, Section 38 agencies, or other statutory health agencies in line with WRC Agreement 161867.


Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee housing supports for Adult Mental Health Service users
• Work collaboratively with local authorities, approved housing bodies, and voluntary agencies
• Contribute to strategic planning and service development within Mental Health Services
• Support implementation of national and regional housing and mental health policies
• Monitor service performance, outcomes, and reporting requirements
• Provide leadership and professional guidance to multidisciplinary stakeholders
• Participate in governance, audit, and quality improvement initiatives
• Represent Mental Health Services at internal and external meetings


Required Skills & Qualifications

• Eligible applicants must be current employees of the HSE, TUSLA, Section 38 agencies, or statutory health agencies
• Relevant third-level qualification at Level 8 (or higher) on the National Framework of Qualifications
• Significant experience in housing, mental health, social care, or health service management
• Demonstrated ability to work across agencies and manage complex stakeholder relationships
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills
• Experience in service planning, policy implementation, and governance is desirable

Salary: In line with the HSE Grade VII (0582) consolidated salary scale (August 2025 rates)
Contract: Permanent, Wholetime
