Health Service Executive (HSE) is seeking a dedicated Neurophysiology Assistant to join Children’s Health Ireland in Dublin South. This permanent wholetime role supports vital neurophysiology services and is open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants. The post is urgent to fill, with a planned start date of February 2026.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist senior neuro-physiology staff in delivering diagnostic services
• Support the preparation, operation, and maintenance of neurophysiology equipment
• Provide high-quality patient care within a busy clinical environment
• Ensure accurate recording and documentation of test data
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across CHI sites
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised clinical space
• Contribute to service improvements and workflow efficiencies
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Relevant qualification suitable for a Physiotherapy Assistant (Grade 6503)
• Experience in patient-facing healthcare roles is desirable
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to follow clinical protocols and instructions accurately
• Commitment to high standards of patient care and confidentiality
• Ability to work effectively as part of a specialist clinical team
