Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Pharmaceutical Technician to join the pharmacy team at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda and Louth County Hospital. This role plays a vital part in delivering a safe, efficient, and patient-focused pharmacy service to both inpatients and outpatients within a busy acute hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the delivery of a comprehensive hospital pharmacy service
• Prepare, dispense, and supply medications accurately in line with hospital protocols
• Work collaboratively with pharmacists and the wider multidisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate stock control and medication records
• Ensure compliance with all HSE policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Contribute to continuous service improvement and quality initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Recognised qualification as a Pharmaceutical Technician
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience is desirable but not essential

• Salary in line with HSE Pharmaceutical Technician (Grade 3212) salary scale
