The Health Service Executive (HSE) is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist, Staff Grade (Ref: UHKPH88903) to join the team at University Hospital Kerry. Key Responsibilities
• Deliver a safe, efficient phlebotomy service as part of the hospital’s diagnostic workflows.

• Ensure accurate sample identification, labelling, and timely transport to laboratory services.
• Maintain excellent infection prevention, hygiene, and clinical safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams across University Hospital Kerry.
• Support service improvements and contribute to high standards of clinical governance.

Required Skills & Qualifications
• Demonstrated depth and breadth of experience providing a phlebotomy service.
• Relevant certified training in venepuncture/phlebotomy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills suited to a clinical environment.
• Ability to manage clinical workflows in a fast-paced hospital setting.
