An exceptional senior leadership opportunity is now available for a Regional Director of Nursing and Midwifery within HSE Dublin and South East. This pivotal role provides strategic and professional leadership across nursing and midwifery services, shaping the delivery of high-quality, safe, and person-centred care across a large and complex health region.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide strategic leadership and professional direction for nursing and midwifery services across the region
• Lead and influence the development of integrated care pathways for patients and service users
• Drive quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical governance at regional level
• Work collaboratively with senior clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders
• Contribute to regional and national health service planning and reform initiatives
• Ensure workforce planning, education, and professional development align with service needs
• Represent nursing and midwifery at executive, national, and inter-agency forums
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Registration as a Nurse or Midwife with NMBI
• Significant senior strategic leadership experience within health or social care
• Demonstrated expertise across integrated care pathways
• Proven track record of delivering on quality, patient safety, and governance agendas
• Extensive experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong leadership, communication, and change-management capabilities
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Salary Scale (Grade 2347): €122,969 – €150,292 per annum (1 August 2025 rates)
