The Health Service Executive (HSE) is inviting applications for a Senior Clinical Psychologist (Síceolaí, Sinsearach Cliniciúil) to join the Primary Care Social Inclusion Team within the Dual Diagnosis Service, Dublin South West. This permanent whole-time post offers the opportunity to provide specialist psychological support across diverse communities within the Dublin and Midlands region.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver specialist psychological assessment and therapy for service users presenting with dual diagnosis
• Work effectively within multidisciplinary Primary Care and Social Inclusion teams
• Provide consultation, support, and training to colleagues and partner agencies
• Maintain high-quality clinical records, reports, and care plans
• Contribute to service planning, evaluation, and development
• Support Area 3 Child Psychology services as required
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives across the region
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Postgraduate qualification in Clinical Psychology recognised by the Department of Health
• Eligibility for professional registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI)
• Minimum of two years’ relevant post-qualification clinical experience
• Experience working with dual diagnosis and/or complex clinical presentations
• Strong skills in multidisciplinary collaboration, communication, and reflective practice
• Commitment to professional development and evidence-based care

• Salary in accordance with HSE consolidated pay scales for Psychologist – Senior Clinical (Grade 367Y)

Location & Employer Information
This role is based with the Primary Care Social Inclusion Team, Dual Diagnosis Service, Dublin South West. Additional service coverage may include counties Longford, Westmeath, Offaly, Laois, Kildare, and parts of Dublin South and Wicklow.
