Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive clinical care to surgical inpatients and outpatients.
• Participate in surgical ward rounds, theatre lists, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Assist consultants and registrars in surgical procedures and patient management.
• Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HSE standards.
• Participate in on-call duties as rostered.
• Contribute to clinical audits, research, and continuous professional development.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Eligible registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC).
• Previous experience in a surgical department desirable.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to patient safety, learning, and professional standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-paced hospital environment.
Salary, Benefits & Working Hours
• Salary scale (as of 1 August 2025): €54,203–€74,133 per annum (7-point scale, per HSE consolidated salary scales).
