🔍 Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Physiotherapist – Cardiac Rehabilitation & MSK OPD in Naas, Kildare to join the HSE Dublin and Midlands region. This permanent whole-time post is evenly split between Cardiac Rehabilitation (0.5 WTE) and Musculoskeletal Outpatients (0.5 WTE), offering a varied and rewarding clinical caseload within an acute hospital setting.
This role is open to both HSE and non-HSE applicants and is ideal for an experienced physiotherapist seeking clinical depth across cardiology and MSK services.
🩺 Key Responsibilities
• Assess, treat and manage patients with cardiac conditions in line with current evidence-based practice
• Plan and deliver group-based cardiac rehabilitation exercise programmes
• Provide specialist MSK injury assessment and treatment within outpatient services
• Maintain high clinical standards within an Irish acute hospital environment
• Participate in service development, audit and quality improvement initiatives
• Demonstrate ongoing engagement in relevant continuing professional development
• Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
🎓 Required Skills & Qualifications
• CORU registration as a Physiotherapist (essential)
• Significant post-qualification experience at Senior level
• Demonstrable experience in Cardiac Rehabilitation physiotherapy
• Proven experience delivering group exercise programmes
• Strong MSK assessment and treatment expertise
• Evidence of CPD in cardiology/cardiac rehabilitation and MSK practice
• Experience working within the Irish Acute Hospital system

• Salary: In line with HSE Senior Physiotherapist (Grade 3158) consolidated salary scales
• Working Hours: Full-time (1.0 WTE), split evenly between CR and MSK OPD
